Drag and Drop

Yes, yet another computer cartoon.... this one is called Drag and Drop.... LOL

To answer a few questions at once, I was a witness for the state at the trial, (I work for a law enforcement agency) so No, I was not in trouble. It was completely pointless, I drove all that way, missed class, and wasted my day for nothing. They came to some bargain agreement or something and released us all without testifying.

So, now I am completely backed up in my spanish class, luckily it is the beginning of the course, and I know most of what they are teaching. Some of it is new, but I should be able to figure it out.

Things are going well with James. I felt bad though, he came over last night, as we have not hung out in a few days, but all I did was homework. He had some studies to do too, so It was not a complete waste of his time, but I still felt bad. I am completely caught up in Psych reading though, and would have been even more lost in Spanish class, if I had not read what I did for Spanish last night. I have a ton of homework to do tonight, and with no syllabus it is like flying blind. but I digress... back to James - we have both come to the conclusion that it does not feel like we have only been dating a few weeks. I mean there are still certianly things to learn about each other, and I can't wait to learn them, but there is a certian comfort level there that has been lacking in my other relationships as of the last um... several years. Don't worry, I am not going all mushy emotional... I am still the same old Heather... and no I don't have a fever. I am however, trying to stick to the resolution in which I do not go running the other direction whenever someone tries to get close, and actually have not had the itch to run as of yet with James.

Back to the spanish thing, did I tell you we have to buy the syllabus? How rediculus is this? How utterly pointless. Bah~ *screened for profanity* I do not wish to go into this as of right now, as it would take me a while to rant on, and well, I just don't have the energy for that right now. Aside from that I already have a rant planned for today, well a continuation of a rant...

begin rant/
More public transit system information... I waited on the bus for 15 minutes today, and then another 5 while I was on the bus. So even though I left 10 minutes earlier today, I was still 5 minutes late for class. Tomorrow I shall leave my house at 0655, be on campus before 7 and if the bus is not there in like 2 minutes, I am walking to class. It is a long hike, but hey, the brisk morning air will be good for me eh? I think it is rediculus that we have to park so far away from class anyhow, but with a million and a half students, I guess I can see why...
End rant/
and now for some comic relief (you are thinking thank you lord! )
When I get off work, I am going to my Grandmother's after work. It is her birthday today. The bracelet that I ordered her did not make it in time, but I have a few charms, and an african violet pot to give her, I printed pictures of the bracelet and other charms. Now everyone I know has a charm bracelet, and there can be no more whining. :)

Thought for the day: Courage is fear that has said its prayers. ~ Karl Barth

Factoid: At latitude 60 degrees south you can sail the entire way around the world. (You can't tell me these aren't addictive! I simply love the useless shit that fills my head!)

Question of the day: This one is inspired by a game of truth or truth that Lar and I played on the way to Cape Coral.

If you had to pick an animal that best represents you, what would you pick AND why?

I would have to say the horse. They are strong, independent, and stubborn. They spook easy and when it happens they bolt (good luck catching a spooked horse), but when you do win them over they are one of the most loyal creatures on earth!

Well I had better get me bum back to work, lots to do and little time to do it in!

I would say a raven for me; all black, smart, it's own language, and I love flying.

Good to hear about James, good luck!

Things sound nice with James. The comfort thing must be a good sign but obviously as I say "dont count your chickens before they hatch". But still it sounds good for you :) particularly as you haven't had the urge to run yet. I get those urges too.
Walk to school ahh bless, maybe you should wait like 5mins??
